Arduino Light and Temperature Logger
This rechargable battery powered instrument records temperature and light levels continuously at 1 Hz and saves the data as a CSV file. Below are graphs of the saved data showing the result of putting a finger over the light sensor and holding a finger on the temperature sensor. Below that is an image of a section of a sample data file.
CNC Milled Computer Desk
This is a modular, adjustable height, standing computer desk milled by computer numerical control (CNC) from birch plywood.
Arduino Nano Metal Detector
This is a rechargeable battery powered metal detector made with an Arduino Nano microcontroller. The video demonstrates the metal detector responding to a piece of magnetized ironstone being moved from adjacent to the coil and then being placed into and removed from the coil. Watch for the flashing green and white LEDs at left and listen for the clicking of the buzzer. The coil is about 10 turns of insulated copper wire wound around a plastic ring.
